| Billy Santoro | I Want You | This sounds familiar. Simple 4-4 guitar intro, pop-rock voice. Cheap Trick could have performed this track. I like the lyrics, she wants to leave, he wants her to stay, there’s nothing left to say! The chorus is good, I like the slower part in the middle-it’s pretty cool! There isn’t much to this song, but it sounds great just like it is. It’s really good, and I like it a lot. Download it now! | |

| Savas | Question | I can picture this song being played in Half-life or Duke Nukem, it would fit perfectly. Sounds almost like Korn, or Rammstein, but in English, with a techno background. Heavy percussion and screamin' vocals rock! I love the clever electric guitar part. This song is awesome and I believe it would get good airplay, given half a chance. The singer rants, "A simple question..." over and over, building intensity as the song continues. The ending is extremely powerful- the chorus and instruments collide, making me wanna jump outta this chair and slam into someone! Download it ASAP!!!! | |

| Sekora | The Man With the Scythe | Ahhhha, a good gothic sound. Hold on while I go change into my black ensemble. A dark and sinister guitar sounds spooky and the guy's voice is perfect for the music. This reminds me of Bauhaus, a band my dad has played around the (bau) house. The only problem would be that there is no chorus, or high point to this song! It sounds the same the whole way through and doesn't change. It's so monotoned. Other than that I like the song and I'd like to hear more from the group. | |

| Shaky Tee & the Lo-Hi Fivin' Orchestra | Foxglove Blues | Shaky Tee, you should teach this song to my dad! He made up his own blues tune and it’s hilarious! This sounds like it came from the 60’s, with the woman’s strong voice, and the instrumentation (piano, guitar, percussion) is most definitely bluesy! "You put some s*** in my coffee this morning, and it set fire down below." I love that line!! I don’t know much about the blues, but I like the energy in this song. Download it now! | |

| Siaz | Turned Away | I like the piano at the beginning, the static-y sound is cool, wow! Neat! My speakes sounds like they're going to die! No!! I LOVE my stereo- don't kill it!!! I don’t know if I like that grinding. Too much static. Eeww. Orchestra entering the building. Echo-y. Cool. This song is changing a lot. The piano is back with a flute-thing. I love it, it starts out painful to the ears, and then it ends soft, pretty and nice. Nifty. This wasn't intended for mass consumption, so if you are one of the few who love a challenge, check this out. | |

| Sintz | All Walks of Life | I like this electro-tune. It has a neat beginning, sounding like high heels down an empty hallway, with a low bass sound. The synths sound really neat, and the keyboard sounds awesome. I like this song, it rocks. This band couldn’t have gotten any more adventurous. There is a really good part a minute and a half through. These guys tried all different things, and it sounds really good, so I strongly recommend you to download this tune! | |

| Skadaddyz | Hotel California | I've only heard part of "Hotel California", the original by the Eagles, but my mom said that this version sounds completely the same, except for the brass and ska part that pop in and out of the song. I can see why this was a hit back in the 70's. The brass is great, it really adds a lot of feeling. The Skadaddys could have made a better effort to change the song more- why make a cover that is almost exactly like the original? I have no clue what the song is really about- I suspect the song refers to drugs and death, like all 70's tunes except for disco. Oh wait, disco was about drugs. | |

| Slainte | Wild Rover | Sweet. I love Irish folk music. I listen to Shane McGowan all of the time! This sounds as if it were sung at a pub, the crowd joins in and everyone claps together. I’m going to get up and start doing a jig soon. I like the fiddle and other acoustic instruments and it’s always good to review something different. This is even cool without the instruments! I like it so download it now! | |

| The Stereo Logic | Alien Snow (Part 2) | Cool synth noises!!! I like that. It's rough, but sweet. I can picture this instrumental tune in any type of alien movie - the aliens are landing and preparing to start their attack on earth!! Oh my gosh - that sounds awesome!!! I love the newer synths! The Stereo Logic is a SYNTH GOD. Great song - download it ASAP!!! | |

| Steve and Jared | Idiots Waiting | Cool lyrics. A couple of guys from school should hear this. I cannot compare this band to any other. I liked the talking at the beginning, I like the guitars and the drums, geez, the singers voice sounds familiar! Well, I really like this song, good job, download it now! | |

| Someone Else's Problem | Cold Blue Steel | (This is a song that
my dad, the HitSession MC wrote. I reviewed this because I have
really grown to like the message in the lyrics.)
The lyrics in this song really relate to teenage life. Sometimes, like most teenagers, I feel sad, but I’ve never done anything horrible enough to be ashamed of, like the poor, pregnant girl the singer is referring to. The singer of this song really knew what tone of voice to use. In some parts he was gentle and sad, in other parts he sounds full of anger and ready to leave the world. There are help lines for people who feel this way. The only problem is, people with these feelings feel that they don’t need help. The blend of acoustic and electric guitars sound just right, and everything fits perfectly. I’m wondering how this song would sound if sung by a girl around my age, 15 or 16. It might add more feeling to this song, although you can already tell that the singer put tons of feeling into this masterpiece. When you listen to this song, really listen to the lyrics. They mean a lot. Download this song now, because I strongly recommend it and it has meaning. |

| So Clean | Brothers | Déjà vu! Wow. I'm dancing in my chair. This would definitely make it onto the BFD at my local Alternative station. Number one all the way. Sounds like a mixture between Pearl Jam and Creed. Download it! | |

| Sticky Pistil | Gettingoffon technocalities |
Long title! The one thing about Sticky is that they always have extremely creative guitar parts. SP seem to be evolving. This is an instrumental tune, featuring a melodic guitar layered over a techno beat. It's easy to imagine this song accompanying a car chase scene in an action flick. I don't know if this is SP's new direction or what, but his song is so awesome and I think everyone should download it! | |

| Stop Children | Have You Seen My Baby | Thunderous beginning-sounds like a storm, cat noises, baby cooing, then crying, deep voiced man talking. Man in daze because of lost or kidnapped child. Same repitous sounds, a bit annoying, but if you're into this type of music, you might want to download it. | |

| Strain | Sugar Buzz | I need to be on a sugar buzz right now! I like the instrumentation, and the guy’s voice is good, the lyrics were well thought out. This song is perfect, and I can’t seem to find a reason why these guys wouldn’t make it in the future, unless their cd totally sucks. It shouldn’t though, so I’m not going to worry. Congratulations on a great song! Download this ASAP! | |
