| Paleo | Colder Colder | I think I've reviewed this song before. Deja vu? It sounds very familiar. There is low-fi charm (and a touch of audible distortion) here as the band obviously used what equipment they had and didn't spend a pile of money on clever studio tricks. The lyrics are cool- "colder, colder I'm gonna take you home." The guitar is just enough to keep you going. The singers match very well, i think there are two, right? I hope so. Download this song now, because it's awesome and I like it! | |

| The Jeff Patlingraos | Don't Tell Julia | I've been listening to a lot of Elliot Smith lately, and this song sounds like it could be on one of Elliot's earlier albums. This is a nice, sweet and calm, acoustic guitar number. It’s so full of guitars and sounds so good. The singer has an awesome voice, and this too would be a great song to relax to. I love it! Download this song if you would like to unwind or just think about life. | |

| Phantom 309 | Three Dead Cows at Makapuu | Ahhh, classic Surf music! Listen to those echo-y guitars and that roller-rink organ. This is cool in an early-60's sort of way. I wish I were on the beach dancing in my bikini with Frankie and Annette! Hey gang, get in your hot-rods and check out Phantom 309 IMMEDIATELY. | |

| Physics of a Squall | Twin Submarine Apex | Spooky intro. I like it because it’s different, because it’s not all fast, but in a way, it’s a little bit too slow. There we go, it's picking up a bit. Now it’s better. It picked up speed and sounds much better. This would be cool in a sci-fi film, when lots of atmosphere is needed. "Twin Submarine Apex" is an OK electronic song. I like it, but it just seems to be taking forever. | |

| PopeAlopes | Devil's Dream | The melodic guitar is peaceful, and the singer fits in perfectly. His voice is a little harsh, but it sounds really good in a late 80's/early 90's grungy sort of way. The beat is great, and everything fits. I like the lyrics. The ending was really good! It faded out perfectly. This is a band that I’d have to say is "!Muy Bien!" Good job. | |

| Posh | Heavenly | Is this a woman singing? I hope so because she’s talking about being told she’s not pretty. This reminds me of New Order (or Erasure), so much. I love New Order, and the instruments and the notes her voice was hitting in the chorus sounded exactly like it. This voice is everything, there are basically no instruments, just drums and a synth, so that’s all you hear. It’s really good when a person has a good enough voice to sing like this. I love this song!!!!!!! Download ASAP because I told you to!!!! | |

| Phond | Father | Here’s a more original band. Brownie points! The chorus has some odd guitar notes in it, they conflict with the singer’s voice. This song is good, and look it up so you can hear this guys story about his father who, from what I can get out of it, left him. There are a lot of people who can relate, and I know they will appreciate this song. The guitar is good, and this song grew on me, so listen to the whole thing and see what you think, but you have to download it first! | |

| The Pony Club | Senseless | The beginning sounds like a cross between the Ramones and the Clash. It is hard to understand the female-sung lyrics at first, because the bass is way too heavy. There is a lot going on in this song and I’m trying to follow it all! I love the singer’s voice now that I can hear it. Awesome. This song rocks and gets better with each listen. This raw and powerful song really rocks, so download it ASAP, especially if you are into a true gloss-free punk song. | |

| Porri Band | If You Wanna Make | This is neat. The song is good, everything fits well, and the electric guitar ROCKS! Wow, that was a long solo. The singers’ voice reminds me a little bit like Everclear, but not quite. Download this song, I liked it! | |
