Artist Song Review
Bad Art Family Ring This song is different than most I’ve heard. It’s slower, and the singer has a deep voice. I like it, at first I wasn’t sure, but the guitar and drums balance each other out, along with the voice. The beginning was good, the brass in the middle of the song is good, and the lyrics are good. There is a surprise at the end that’s neat, so I strongly urge you to download this song.

Baltimore Sundays Fade I’m not sure if I like that singing at the beginning. It’s a little hard on the ears. The singing reminds me of the Sunday's.  This singer's voice becomes very pretty as the song evolves, and  I really like it. The simple guitars and percussion sound good. The singer can do so much with her voice. It’s a nice wind-down song. I really love this song and I know you will too, so download it today!

Bar1 Who is Scooby Doo? I know who Scooby Doo is! I used to watch that cartoon all of the time! This sounds dark, and gothic. Sweet. I’m really liking it. That little bit of voice-"ah" sounds good. Now it sounds spookier because of the pipe-grinding noise. I always try to figure out what instrumental techno songs would sound like with lyrics, and this one would only work with Shirley Manson or some girl who knows what she’s doing. This song is awesome although repetitive. I love it so download it right away!

Barely Pink Box Your Sound This sounds like all the new bands I’ve heard on the radio station. This song is definitely and up-and-coming, and I like it quite a bit. It’s fun, I wouldn’t mind listening to it more, and the only problem I have with it is I don’t really care for the singers’ voice. It doesn’t really fit in, but it doesn’t sound bad, so don’t fire your singer, it just doesn’t jump out at me and knock me over. Good job guys, everything else is great!

Beat Symphony Anyplace But Here I love the beats and synth in beginning of this song. The vocals sound a bit like a poppier version of the  Sisters of Mercy or Depeche Mode.  "Anyplace but Here" would fit in really well with 80’s music. I love this song!! I would not change any part of this song. It sounds perfect like it is. I recommend this song to everybody, it’s awesome and I know you’ll love it!

The Beauty Myth I Dream You Angry blasts of guitar begin this modern rock tune.  I like this high-energy tune- it has a powerful beat and very strong, melodic singing. The singer fits the music and vice-versa. I can't find anything wrong with "I Dream You." Download it NOW!!!!

Roy G. Biv Bedlam Slow-paced beginning.  This is how I run the mile during track practice!  This song is a little too slow for me and I'm not sure I like it.   It reminds me of that winter sadness song by some Chinese guy.  Ugh.  I'm getting depressed just thinking about it.  If you like slower-paced songs, that are very mellow and harmonic, this song would be great for you.  I thing all my muscles are going to rebel and fall asleep on me!

The Blanks Red Zone OK, I really like instrumental surf music.  My dad got me hooked on it, but this song just doesn't work. Maybe it's because it sounds like it was recorded in a garage on a cassette deck, or maybe it's the lack of any solid melody.  This band might be fun to see live, but they need to find out what the inside of a recording studio looks like before posting any more songs.

Cheryl Bliss Spinning Such an airy voice! The contrasting fast percussion and quiet keyboards match her voice perfectly without being overpowering. I like the lyrics, they’re full of happy memories…all she wants is her honey beside her. She’s spinning. Even though this song doesn’t have a hooky chorus, its uniqueness makes it stand out. Everything is perfect and I believe everybody should download this song!!

Bo Grumpus Popularity Looking for something completely different?  You've found it but I don't know what the heck it is.  It's not bluegrass, but it has a bouncy, familiar-sounding melody and some fine acoustic guitar picking. Good job, Bo Grumpus.

Ric Bonnell Into You Sounds Spanish! The guitar is really cool sounding, the beginning is great, and then it becomes wonderful when the singer adds in. I must say, that the singers’ voice is quite original, not like many I’ve heard before. I love the end also, back with that guitar. This song is perfectly balanced, and I really like it, so it’s a must-download!

Born of Fire After the Fire Reminds me of a dark Blink 182 in the beginning, the singers voice is inexplicable. It almost reminds me of Soundgarden or Alice in Chains, with great guitar solos. It does have a few slow parts, but always speeds back up. Awesome! Download it ASAP!

Boy Kicks Girl Denny's Girl Blink182!  The only difference is the voice of the singers.  Since I really like Blink, it's a given that I like this band too.  I love the guitar in the middle of the song.  It rocks!  So, if punk-rock is one of your favorite genres, then check out this song!

Mark Brady Down and Out A slinky sound guitar opens this cool tune. Mark Brady's clear voice blends in well with his music in this up-tempo pop tune.  This is another "break-up" song, but the lyrics aren't too sad despite the song's title.I like this song, especially the "Do do do do" part. I love it when people add doo’s and ahh’s and stuff like that to their songs. It’s so fun. The ending is beyond awesome, so don't miss this very, very neat song.

Buttermilk Platform Happy This is recommended for fans of noisy alternative rock.  A heavily-reverberated male voice sings something about getting his woman back and being
