How to Put a Bunch of MP3's on a CD That Will Play In Any Stereo |
| <<Page 1 |
| Step 6: On
the MusicMatch top menu bar, select "Options", then "Create
CD From Playlist..." from the drop-down menu.
Step 7: If you have selected too many tracks, de-select the "X" in the column from a few song('s) to reduce the total amount of space required. If your computer is new, has a fast CD recorder, and works like a charm, you can select the "Create CD" button. Step 8: If your computer is older and tends to be a bit ornery, select the "Options>>" button.
You may have to play around with these options a bit. I found that my test computer, a PII-266 with 128MB RAM and a 2 GB hard drive required me to use the "Use hard drive cache" option. I also had to delete a lot of files from the computer to obtain the required temporary storage space. Step 9: Select the "Create CD" button. The worse thing that could happen is you'll be out the $2 that the blank CD costs. Step 10: Get out of your chair and go do something for a while. Play with the dogs, the kids, wash your car, or just enjoy the sun on your face. Do NOT disturb your computer while it is creating the CD. That's all there is to creating the CD. I'm not going to tell you how to make an insert for the jewel-case. You need to figure out some things for yourself. |
